The urn in the "diplomat" style is crafted of cherry using cabinetwork techniques.  The angular style of the rectangular shape is complimented by some unique design elements.  For instance, the gracefully curved top and spiral lines of the corner pieces harmonize and blend with the edges and overall profile of the urn.      

The piece is reminiscent of Old World style furniture and cabinetwork.  The beautiful cherry wood is stained a dark cinnamon color and the finish is satin.
