For the Family of Charles Herndon
     July 24, 2011
     In memory of: Charles Herndon

    Dear friends,
Charlie lived just down the street from me as a kid; Abbott Street in St. Augustine. My wife, Ann, and I are sadden to here of Charlie's passing for his wife and family.
But we celebrate his going to be with his Savior and Lord, Jesus.  Charlie was a friend to everyone and could talk to you for hours. We spent countless hours together
as part of the Abbott Street gang in the 40's and 50's and I don't believe we ever had a disagreement. He was that sort of a guy. I don't think he ever changed over the years.
The last time I saw him was at the 50th reunion for the class of 1960 at the Radford's home in St. Augustine and it was like old times talking with him.
    God bless his family.
